What Goes Around

September 2013

Location: Collier Logging Museum, Chiloquin, Oregon. Collier is a very interesting outdoor museum that is a vast graveyard for old, rusted behemoths of historic logging equipment. It amazes me how much effort and ingenuity went into designing these machines, some weighing over 100,000 pounds and some as big as a log cabin. And yet, within less than 100 years, most are obsolete and have been replaced with new designs and new technology.
